Selkirk Street active transportation path

The City’s contractor, Terus, is scheduled to start paving the new active transportation path along Selkirk Street on Wednesday, July 8.

The work will occur between Nisutlin Drive and the Gadzoosdaa Student Residence and is weather dependent.

This is part of the Selkirk Path Active Transportation Improvements that were recommended in the Selkirk Elementary School Active Travel Plan in 2022.

Access to some parking spots on the west side of Selkirk Street will be limited while the work is in progress.

Residents are asked to follow signage and traffic control. We appreciate the public’s patience while construction occurs.
