Sidewalk upgrades

Improvements to two downtown sidewalks will be underway in the coming weeks.

The City’s contractor is upgrading the sidewalk surface on Hawkins Street near Third Avenue, and on Second Avenue near Ogilvie Street.

Work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 27 and expected to wrap up by Thursday, October 15, weather permitting.

Residents are asked to use caution and follow all signage and detours.
