Utility Bills Impacted By Canada Post Strike

            November 19, 2024

Woman, credit card and hands with phone for online shopping, payment or fintech savings at home. Closeup, mobile banking and finance for sales, password and code for ecommerce to upgrade subscription

The City is reminding residents and businesses of how to receive and pay utility bills during the Canada Union of Postal Workers strike, which began Friday, November 15.

The strike has prevented commercial and multi-family utility bills from being mailed out.

Copies of utility bills can be requested via email at [email protected], by phone at 667-6401 or in-person at City Hall.

Payments are accepted in-person at City Hall or online by visiting whitehorse.ca/online-payment.

Regular residential utility bills have not been impacted by the mail strike at this time. The City will continue to provide updates as necessary while the strike continues.

If you have questions about your utility bill, please contact [email protected], call 668-8607 or ask in-person at City Hall.

City Hall is located at 2121 2nd Avenue and open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
