What We Heard: Mineral Exploration and Development Framework

The City of Whitehorse has released a What We Heard report for the draft Mineral Exploration and Development Framework.

The What We Heard report details public feedback during the second round of engagement in early 2026.

Feedback received will inform final adjustments to the proposed framework and associated changes to the Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw, which will be presented to Council for consideration by early fall.

The latest round of public engagement focused on the draft framework and included two open houses, an online survey, and meetings with First Nations and industry stakeholders.
