Construction of a new raised continuous pathway/sidewalk crossing at the Two Mile Hill Road and Canadian Tire access is anticipated to begin on Monday, May 15.
The new raised continuous path/sidewalk crossing is intended to enhance overall safety and connectivity along Two Mile Hill and the City’s broader transportation network.
The City’s contractor, Copperbelt Contracting, will be removing and replacing concrete and asphalt at the crossing.
Detours will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and abilities. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to last one week, weather permitting.
Please travel with care, reduce speed, and follow traffic controllers and construction signage.
The City thanks you for your patience and consideration during this construction period.
