Hillcrest reconstruction

Summit Road is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, June 20 as reconstruction continues in the Hillcrest neighbourhood.

The street will close again later in the summer when asphalt is placed for the entire construction area.

Meanwhile, the closure at the intersection of Roundel Road and Sunset Drive North is extended to Sunday, June 21. This intersection will reopen on Monday, June 22.

Transit stops on Sunset Drive North remain closed and buses continue to detour up Hillcrest Drive, around Park Lane, and back down Hillcrest Drive. Use the Transloc app to see where your bus is in real-time.

Roundel Road is closed between Summit Road and Sunset Drive North for deep utility construction. Residents of that area are required to use alternative access until August unless they are otherwise notified.

The City will continue to work with residents and the contractor, Castle Rock Enterprises, to provide temporary access when needed for fuel or other deliveries.
