Temporary closure on Whistle Bend Way

Whistle Bend Way will be closed between the two roundabouts at Casca Boulevard beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, until 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, to accommodate road work associated with Whistle Bend development.

Drivers should plan alternative routes through Whistle Bend and allow for additional travel time.

Transit riders should also plan for impacts to service over the weekend.

Transit Routes 401 (Whistle Bend East) and 402 (Whistle Bend West) will  be detoured and delays can be expected. Bus stops for both routes on Hickory Street at Evergreen Crescent, Chestnut Place, and Porter Creek Secondary School (north and southbound) will be closed on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.

These stops can be accessed via Routes 201 (Porter Creek East) and 202 (Porter Creek West). Transit users going from Whistle Bend to Porter Creek can transfer from Route 401 to 201 at Mountain View Drive and Range Road, or from Route 402 to 202 at Yukon University.
