Whitehorse Emergency Preparedness Guide

The City of Whitehorse has developed a new Emergency Preparedness Guide to help residents prepare for emergencies before they happen.

The guide includes information on local hazards, emergency notifications, evacuation procedures, and how to prepare for an emergency, including resources for creating an emergency plan and a 72-hour kit.

The Emergency Preparedness Guide is available to download.

You can also find free printed copies at outreach events led by the City’s Emergency Preparedness Specialist, including at the Fireweed Community Market at Shipyards Park on Thursday, September 17.
