Active commute trail counter to be installed

The City is installing a permanent trail counter at the bottom of the Black Street stairs. The installation is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, June 23.

This is part of the City’s ongoing effort to collect information to better understand how and when people are using Whitehorse trails.

Work to install the trail counter will be happening in the morning, beginning around 9:30 a.m. Trail users can expect some noise and dust along with a temporary unpaved trail bypass.
