Canada Day service impacts

Tuesday, July 1, is Canada Day.

Most City facilities, including the Canada Games Centre and City Hall, will be closed and there will be some service impacts.

The Frank Slim Building will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Weekend service will be in effect for Transit with buses being re-routed from 2nd Avenue during the 11 a.m. Canada Day parade. Transit stops along Second Avenue at Black Street, Keish Street, and Ogilvie Street will be closed during the parade. There may be some minor Transit delays at this time.

The Waste Management Facility will be open and curbside collection will continue for Downtown, Marwell, Takhini, Valleyview, Hillcrest, Arkell, Granger, and Ingram.  Curbside recycling pickup for Takhini, Marwell and Downtown will occur on June 30.
