The City of Whitehorse will host two in-person sessions as it continues to seek public feedback on proposed bylaw and policy changes to help reduce wildfire risk to Whitehorse properties.
The sessions will be held September 22 and 23 at the Robert Service Campground Building.
Monday, September 22
3 p.m. – 6 p.m.: drop-in session
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: facilitated workshop
Tuesday, September 23
10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: drop-in session
12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: facilitated workshop
Residents can learn more about and provide feedback on the proposed changes to the City’s Zoning Bylaw, Maintenance Bylaw, Plumbing Bylaw and the City’s Tree Removal Policy to strengthen wildfire protection.
