Fridays in the Park return for 2026

            June 16, 2026

Fridays in the Park are back!

The City of Whitehorse is excited to announce the return of Fridays in the Park for the 2026 summer season.

Each Friday, the City will be hosting games, activities, and entertainment in a different neighbourhood park from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The events are suitable for all ages and will include activities tailored for kids under 12 years of age. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the City kindly asks that children under 12 be accompanied by a guardian.

Community partners are invited to join in the fun. To find out how your organization can be part of Fridays in the Park, contact Daniel Brisebois, the City’s Events Coordinator, at [email protected].

Fridays in the Park will run from June 19 to August 21 at the following parks (weather dependent).

            • June 19 – Hilcrest Park, Hillcrest
            • June 26 – Pine Street Playground, Porter Creek
