Temporary Closure on Copper Road

A section of Copper Road, between Industrial Road and Tlingit Street, will be closed for up to six hours tonight beginning at 7 p.m. for infrastructure repair work.

A detour will be in place for road users, including Transit, through Industrial Road, Galena Road, Tlingit Street and back to Mountain View Drive.

Bus routes 101, 201 and 401 – City Central, Porter Creek East, and Whistle Bend East – will be impacted with three Transit stops closed at Quartz and Industrial Roads, Copper and Quartz Roads, and Copper Road.

Temporary bus stops will be in place on both the north and south sides of Tlingit Street at Copper Road.

Those travelling through the area are asked to follow signage and drive with caution.
