We are excited to collaborate with a number of organizations and artists to make the Riverfront Town Square an enriching and memorable event for residents and visitors this summer.
The Town Square will have a soft launch on June 28 with additional seating areas set up on the wharf and along the riverfront.
It will officially kick off on July 1 with a community art-making event in partnership with Yukon artist Ken Anderson and the Northern Cultural Expressions Society in conjunction with the 2024 Adäka Cultural Festival. Participants will contribute to an artwork connecting the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre to the wharf. The first market and concert will take place on July 2.
Mark your calendars and we’ll see you at the Riverfront!
