City Hall is undergoing renovations to increase the energy efficiency of the building and improve accessibility.
Fencing will be erected around the building for the duration of the renovations, which are scheduled to start in February and continue until September. The public is asked to exercise caution when in the area.
The Second Avenue entrance of City Hall will remain open to residents throughout the renovations so residents can pay parking tickets, invoices, utility bills and property taxes. Residents can also visit whitehorse.ca/online-payment to make a payment and set up pre-authorized payments.
City Council will continue to meet in Council Chambers on Monday nights during the renovations, with public access available at the Steele Street entrance. For more information about City Council, visit whitehorse.ca/city-council.
