The City has seen an increase in illegal dumping this spring. Residents are reminded to dispose of all waste and recycling at designated facilities.
Residents can dispose of their household hazardous waste for free, if brought separately, every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Waste Management Facility.
E-waste, including TVs, computer equipment, fax machines, copy equipment, etc. should be taken to Raven ReCentre.
Please report illegal dumping activity to Bylaw Services at 667-2111 or through whitehorse.ca/sort.
Increased traffic is anticipated throughout the weekend. Everyone visiting the Waste Management Facility is asked to be cautious and follow traffic signage and directions from staff.
