Home Owners Grant Application
Regular payment
If you wish to pay your taxes less the Home Owners Grant, this form must be received before July 2, 2026. If you pay your taxes deducting the grant amount and don’t submit the application, the remaining unpaid portion of the taxes will be subject to the 10% penalty.
If you want to be refunded the Home Owners Grant amount after paying property taxes, this form must be submitted by February 15, 2027.
When you’re applying for the Home Owners Grant online, please do so when the rest of your taxes have been paid.
Mortgage company payment
If your taxes are being paid through your mortgage company, the Home Owners Grant declaration can be submitted to [email protected]. If you want the mortgage company to pay the taxes less the Home Owners Grant, the City must receive your application by June 10, 2026.
If your taxes are being paid through pre-authorized payments, you can still apply for your Home Owners Grant using the form below, or manually using this paper form.
Please note:
When your Home Owners Grant application is successfully submitted, you’ll receive a message on the final screen. If you would like to retain this as a confirmation of receipt, we recommend that you take a screenshot. You won’t receive a follow-up email after the application is submitted.
It can take up to 3 business days for online payments to be processed through banks.
You don’t need to submit a paper application if you’re submitting an application online.
