            Robert Service Campground

            February 21, 2023

Reservations can now be made for the 2026 camping season.

From Robert Service Campground, you can reach downtown Whitehorse via a 2.5 km walk or bike on the paved Millennium Trail, which follows the beautiful Yukon River. There’s a bus stop at the entrance of the campground, and a Route 302 bus will take you right downtown. Or take 3 minutes to zip into town with your own vehicle on Robert Service Way.

The campground is nicely forested with tall trees offering privacy and shade. We have 55 walk-in tent sites, 13 vehicle-accessible sites as well as 2 group sites equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. Day use areas are also available to book for events, making it a great spot for gatherings and celebrations.

Our facilities and amenities include coin-operated hot showers, clean bathrooms, potable water, fire pits and firewood for purchase, lockers, a small concession and have friendly Parks staff on-site daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Vehicle accessible sites can accommodate truck campers/vans 6 m or less.

Each group site is 20 x 35 feet and intended to accommodate large groups (maximum of 25 people) who are camping together.

If you’re visiting Whitehorse, you can find more info on the Travel Yukon site.

Have more questions? Contact campground staff at 867-668-8325 or email [email protected].

We look forward to welcoming you to our Wilderness City!
