Recreation Cancellation Policies
- While a membership is active, a member may request in writing to terminate/cancel a membership.
- All 6 month and 12 month membership cancellations are subject to a $30 withdrawal fee, and if eligible, the member will receive a pro-rated reimbursement.
- The member agrees to abide by the policies, rules, regulations and Code of Conduct of the Canada Games Centre and any amendments enacted hereinafter. Any breach of these rules could constitute reasons for termination of the membership. No refunds will be issued for members suspended from the Canada Games Centre due to misconduct.

One time & Regular User Bookings:
- All rentals are non-refundable within 14 days, and are subject to invoicing of the full amount of the rental, less any time that can be re-allocated to other renters.
- Rentals cancelled prior to 14 days are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Rental amendment fee is $30.
Special Events / Dry Floor Bookings:
- All rentals are non-refundable within 30 days, and are subject to invoicing of the full amount of the rental, less any time that can be re-allocated to other renters.
- Rentals cancelled prior to 30 days are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Rental amendment fee is $30.
- All courses are non-refundable within 7 days of course start date.
- Courses withdrawn prior to 7 days are subject to a $30 withdrawal fee.
- If the course fee is less than $30, only the course fee is charged and no balance is refunded
Cancelling a Fitness Class
- Cancellation is free, up to 1 hour before the start of class without penalty.
- It can be done online, in person or over the phone by calling reception (867-668-8360).
- To cancel your fitness class reservation online, Login to PLAY, under “My Info”, view the Schedule section of your client profile. Switch from “Calendar View” to “List View” and then select “Withdrawal” to begin.
No Show / Late Fee
- If you register and do not attend or are late for class you will be considered a “No show”.
- “No Show” members (30 days, 6 month and 1 year) will be charged a “no show” fee of a daily admission.
- “No show” punch pass holders and non-members will not be refunded for the admission fee / punch already paid.
