Senior Utility Rebate

The Senior Utility Rebate provides a rebate to residents from fees paid to the City for water, sewer, and Curbside Collection services to a maximum of $500 per year. The Senior Utility Rebate is available to Whitehorse residents aged 65 or older, or to surviving spouses who meet the program’s criteria.

The application process for 2025 is open. Apply by Wednesday, December 31.

New applicants must apply in person and provide proof of age (government-issued ID). Bring your completed form and ID to City Hall. Printable forms can be downloaded by clicking 2025 Senior Utility Rebate Form or are available at City Hall and the Canada Games Centre.
